More than 50,000 people have registered to attend COP29 through the Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, and the number will increase as the process continues.

Axar.az reports that the Head of the Presidential Administration, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Samir Nuriyev said this at the 8th meeting of the Organizing Committee regarding the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

The head of the Presidential Administration emphasized the importance of ensuring the implementation of the Transportation Plan prepared during COP29 regarding the planned organization of transportation in Baku.

At the same time, Samir Nuriyev spoke about the preparatory work being completed at the Baku Olympic Stadium, events to be organized by state institutions together with international partners, and other issues.

The Chairman of the Organizing Committee said that foreign media and non-governmental organizations are also very interested in participating in COP29.
