It should be noted that nearly 40,000 people currently live in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, including former internally displaced persons who have been resettled, as well as individuals working on ongoing projects in the region, employees of local branches of various state institutions, and those working in newly reopened healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy sectors.
