Aliyev: Karabakh becoming a paradise

The number of people returning here (to the liberated lands - ed..) is increasing and will increase even faster. Because in the first four years, we were busy with more infrastructure projects. We have almost completed most of them. All of Karabakh and East Zangezur are already provided with a circular electricity network. They have also been connected to the traditional electricity economy of Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said these words at a meeting with participants of the III Shusha Global Media Forum.

The Head of State said that after completing most of the infrastructure projects, more funds will be directed to housing. Yesterday, people returned to two villages of the Khojaly region. The number of settlements where former IDPs live has already reached 18.

Recalling that the Great Return Program has already been implemented, the President said that there will be stages of this, and the number of citizens returning will increase from month to month, year to year. Karabakh, Eastern Zangezur will be revived: "At the beginning of the Great Return, I said that we would turn this region into paradise, and it is already a small piece of paradise. We see it here with our own eyes."
