Aliyev urges Russia admit responsibility for plane crash -

According to information disseminated by authoritative media outlets in Romania and Bulgaria, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has demanded an official admission from the Russian Federation regarding the plane crash that occurred in December 2024. It is noted that the President spoke about this during his speech at the III Global Media Forum held in the city of Shusha.

Axar.az reports, citing Azertac, that Romanian media outlets, including the national news agency AGEPRES, "Evenimentul Zilei" and "Mediafax", as well as the Bulgarian news agency BTA, "24 Chasa" and other publications, state that the head of state considers it important for Russia to officially admit that it shot down an Azerbaijani passenger plane.

In addition to covering this incident extensively, the Romanian and Bulgarian media evaluate President Ilham Aliyev's speech as an important call in terms of security in the region and international law.
