President Ilham Aliyev has awarded a group of journalists working in the country's media sector on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Press.

Axar.az reports that among those awarded are 5 employees of the "Teleqraf" Media Group.

Anar Mahmud oglu Niftaliyev, editor-in-chief of the Axar.az portal, was awarded the "Progress" medal.

In addition, Nargiz Ehlam gizi Javadzade, editor-in-chief of the "Teleqraf" Information Agency, was awarded the "Progress" medal, and Imdad Ali oglu Alizade, director general of the agency, was awarded the "Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

Natig Mukhtar oglu Mukhtarov, editor-in-chief of the Publika.az portal, and Asif Jalal oglu Narimanli, employee of Publika.az, were awarded the "Progress" medal.
