An anti-terrorist operation has been launched in the village of Sunjenski in the Troitskoye region of Ingushetia.

Axar.az reports that, the statement came from the operational headquarters of the region.

"In order to prevent terrorist acts and terrorist crimes, the head of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Ingushetia has decided to conduct an anti-terrorist operation in the village of Troitskoye on August 23 at 8:00 Moscow time," the statement said.

Two terrorists were killed in an anti-terrorist operation in the village of Sunjenski.

Russia's Counter-Terrorism Committee said both terrorists were members of the ISIS terrorist group. They resisted the law enforcement agencies.
