First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army Colonel-General Karim Valiyev, Commander of the Ground Forces Lieutenant-General Hikmat Mirzayev, and other senior officials of the Ministry visited several military units deployed in the liberated areas.

The Chief of General Staff, who met with the leadership of the Ground Forces, brigade commanders, their deputies, and the commanders of separate military units, conveyed the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev to our army, and gave relevant instructions regarding their implementation.

The Chief of the General Staff was interested in the provision of the military officials involved in the mobilization preparation training camp and the practical exercises, followed the combat and shooting training, and gave instructions on their improvement. It was reported that most of the military officials involved in the training camp were reservists who participated in the operations of the Patriotic War and after it.

The Chief of the General Staff instructed to pay special attention to regularly holding training sessions to continue the activities on mobilization preparation and creation of mobilization resources in a planned manner, to maintain the combat readiness of the reservists at a high level.

Colonel-General K. Valiyev was also interested in the progress of the command-staff training organized with the involvement of mobilization resources. The Chief of the General Staff, who came to the place of the training and the training points opened in the desert conditions, listened to the reports of the relevant officials.

Specific tasks have been set before the commanders of the military units to further increase the quality of training, as well as to raise the level of professionalism and combat training of the personnel involved.

Then, the Chief of Staff of the Military Units of the Missile and Artillery Troops noted the importance of increasing the quality of training and exercises, as well as the intensity of conducting them in field conditions, as well as improving the practical skills of combat crews.

Colonel-General K. Valiyev, who visited the deployed military units in the direction of Kalbajar and Lachin, was informed about the work done. The instructions of the Minister of Defense on the implementation of measures by the plan and the completion of the works in the appointed time in the military facilities under construction have been delivered to the relevant officials.
