A suspect in the shooting incident during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner reception at the Washington Hilton hotel in Washington, D.C., has been detained.

Axar.az reports, citing Fox News, U.S. President Donald Trump shared footage of the suspect’s detention on his Truth Social account.

The video shows a man lying face down on the ground with his hands handcuffed behind his back as law enforcement officers secure the scene.

The suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Cole Allen from Torrance, California, a computer scientist and former teacher. He has been arrested.
