Erdogan marks 111th anniversary of Gallipoli Battles

On the 111th anniversary of the Gallipoli Battles, I respectfully commemorate all our heroes who waged an epic struggle for our independence and future, foremost among them Gazi Mustafa Kemal, and I remember with mercy our martyrs and veterans who have passed away.

Axar.az reports, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan marked the anniversary of the Gallipoli Battles in a post on his NSosyal account.

It should be noted that more than 3,000 Azerbaijanis were among those martyred in the Gallipoli Battles, which are regarded as one of the symbols of the brotherhood and historical ties between Azerbaijan and Turkiye.
