Leavitt remarks go viral after Washington shooting scare

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s remarks ahead of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner went viral after a shooting scare disrupted the event.

Axar.az reports that Leavitt described the evening as “classic Donald Trump,” saying it would be “funny and entertaining,” and adding that “there will be some shots fired tonight in the room,” a line that has since drawn widespread attention.

It should be noted that during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, gunfire was heard, after which President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and the White House Press Secretary were immediately evacuated.

The attacker has been identified as 31-year-old Cole Allen. He acted alone.
