"Bayragdar" KALKAN DIHA (Vertical Landing and Takeoff Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) has completed its 30th flight test.
Axar.az reports that "Baykar" Board Chairman Seljug Bayragdar wrote about this on his social network page.
Capable of conducting reconnaissance and surveillance activities, the "Bajragdar" KALKAN DIHA climbed to an altitude of 14,500 feet and clocked a successful flight time of 70 hours.
"Bayragdar" KALKAN DIHA, which can perform automatic route tracking, target tracking, ring fire, and homing modes, carried out the flight test with the Baykar BG-160 camera, which is completely nationally and locally developed by "Baykar".
Thanks to the Baykar BG-160 Electro-Optical System with thermal imaging capabilities, the "Bayragdar" KALKAN DIHA can take high-quality images even at night.
The National Air Defense Forces can successfully carry out intelligence, surveillance, and target detection missions day and night.
