The first round of the FIFA World Cup 2026 group stage has continued with another set of exciting matches.

Axar.az reports that four more games were played in Groups B, C, and D.

In Group B, Qatar and Switzerland shared the points after a 1-1 draw. In Group C, Brazil were held to a 1-1 draw by Morocco, while Scotland edged Haiti 1-0. The biggest surprise came in Group D, where Australia defeated Turkiye 2-0 thanks to goals from Nestory Irankunda and Connor Metcalfe.
