49 people were detained during the confrontation with the police.

This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Police.

It was reported that the citizens were detained for disobeying the legal request of the police in accordance with Article 182 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

The participants of the "Tavush for the Motherland" movement, which held a rally on Bagramyan Avenue demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, moved towards the government building.

It was reported that the protesters intend to spend the night in a tent city.

At the same time, police forces are deployed to the building of the Armenian government, where protesters are currently marching.

According to the latest information, the number of those detained during the actions reached 98.
