In accordance with the action plan approved by the Minister of Defense, a series of events were held on the occasion of June 15 - National Liberation Day in units, units, military units and special purpose educational institutions under the Ministry of Defense.

On the day of the holiday, the personnel visited Heydar Aliyev centers, museums and monuments in the country, watched films about the glorious life and activities of the National Leader of our people, and various cultural and mass events were organized for military personnel.

In the events attended by the children of the martyrs, the memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our citizens who were martyred for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute's silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

Educative conversations were held with military personnel about June 15 - National Liberation Day, which is of great importance in the destiny of the Azerbaijani people and written in golden letters in our history.

It was noted that thirty-one years ago, with the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to political power in Azerbaijan, the foundation of a new development period was laid in the life of our republic. Today, the ideas of the Great Leader to lead Azerbaijan from peak to peak, from victory to victory, are successfully continued by the worthy successor of his political legacy, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

At the events, the glorious Victory won in the Patriotic War under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Muzaffar, and the historical importance of fully ensuring the territorial integrity of our republic after the anti-terrorist operation in the Karabakh economic region were discussed.

Then military personnel who excelled in combat training were presented with honorary degrees.

Concert programs were presented with the participation of the collectives of the Hazi Aslanov Army Ideological and Cultural Center, the Ganja Garrison Ideological and Cultural Center, as well as artists.
