Argentinian football star Lionel Messi and his teammates from the USA’s "Inter Miami" club, Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, met with their fans at the Baku Crystal Hall.

Axar.az reports that before the fans' meeting with the football stars, the "Natiq" rhythm group performed on stage.

Later, world-renowned composer and singer Willy William presented a concert program.

After the screening of a film about Lionel Messi's football career, which highlighted his achievements, including 8 Ballon d'Or awards and his World Cup victory, Messi, Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba took to the stage.

Messi thanked for the organization of the event:

"During my visit to Baku, I had the opportunity to explore Azerbaijan's rich culture. On behalf of my teammates, I thank everyone for organizing this meeting. Thank you very much."

Following the speech, the football stars took a commemorative photo with young colleagues and children with disabilities.

The star footballers threw signed footballs into the audience. The sports celebration for football fans continued with a performance by the famous "Morandi" group.

The event, attended by thousands of fans, also welcomed residents from Baku’s orphanages, children with disabilities, and the children of martyrs.
