Members of the European Union's "observation mission" in Armenia continue to monitor areas along the Azerbaijan border.

Axar.az reports that citing APА, the European observers visited the border area near Kazakh district once again on February 17. They traveled by car along the road, using binoculars to observe Azerbaijani territory.

Azerbaijani border guards kept track of and documented the activities of the observation mission.

It’s important to note that the EU’s mission in Armenia regularly conducts surveillance along the Azerbaijan border, with related reports and footage being shared by Azerbaijani media.

Moreover, the mandate for the EU’s 200-member observation mission at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border has been extended for an additional two years, now running until February 19, 2027.
