Israel’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, George Deek, has concluded his mission.

Axar.az reports that this was announced in a post shared by the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan.

“Six years of friendship and mutual respect. For six years, he has built bridges between nations.

Ambassador George Deek ends his historic mission in Azerbaijan, leaving behind a legacy of deepened ties, meaningful partnership, and sincere relations. Thank you for six unforgettable years,” the statement reads.

In a farewell video, the ambassador showcases a photo album highlighting key historical events during his tenure in Azerbaijan.

It is noted that George Deek began his post in Baku in 2019.
