If the Alaska summit is successful, Putin and Zelensky will soon hold joint talks.

Axar.az reports that U.S. President Donald Trump made the statement while commenting on his online discussions with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"If no agreements on Ukraine are reached in Alaska, Russia will face very serious measures from the United States," Trump noted.

It should be recalled that Putin and Trump will meet in Alaska on August 15.
