US President Donald Trump, hinting that the end of the conflict in Ukraine now depends on Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that a settlement agreement would not be in Kyiv’s favor.

Axar.az reports that American political scientist Malek Dudakov said this.

“Trump used the summit to strengthen his peacekeeping status. In an interview immediately after the talks, Trump said that the responsibility to sign an agreement with Russia now lies with Ukraine. That is, he is already transferring this responsibility in advance to the Ukrainian side and hinting that a future deal with Russia will most likely not be very beneficial for Kyiv,” he noted.
