Currently, the number of Russian troops massed in the Pokrovsk direction is twice the pre-war population of the city.

Axar.az reports, according to Major Viktor Trequbov of Ukraine’s Khortytsia operational-strategic group:

“There are 110,000 Russian soldiers operating in the Pokrovsk direction. Before the war, the city had 60,000 residents. In other words, the Russian army is effectively twice the size of the city it is preparing to attack. It gives the impression that they have assembled an army capable of conquering an average European country,” he said.

Trequbov added that Russian pressure has also intensified in the Liman direction, with the intensity of fighting tripling.
