Belarus is committed to constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation with the people of Ukraine.

Axar.az reports Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko made this statement while congratulating the Ukrainian people on Independence Day.

He said: “No matter how much foreign powers try to pull us in different directions, Belarus will continue to remain open to Ukrainians. We are committed to mutually beneficial cooperation and constructive dialogue with our southern neighbors. Peaceful and harmonious coexistence has long been the fate of the Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples. Close cohabitation has created unbreakable bonds among people through a shared historical destiny, common Christian values, and sincere friendship.

With all my heart, I wish Ukrainian citizens solutions to today’s challenges and wish your multinational country peaceful skies, solidarity, and truly independent development.”
