Vietnam evacuates 586,000 ahead of typhoon Kajiki

The Vietnamese government has ordered the evacuation of more than 586,000 people due to the approaching “Kajiki” typhoon.

Axar.az reports that wind speeds at sea have currently reached 166 km/h.

Meteorologists expect the wind speed to increase further.

Residents of the central provinces of Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, Hue, and Danang have been ordered to leave their homes.

Flights have been canceled, and boats have been instructed not to go out to sea.

The typhoon is currently reported to be raging in China’s Hainan province.
