Azerbaijani swimmer Nusrat Allahverdi becomes World Champion.

Axar.az reports that the 18-year-old athlete won a gold medal for the Turkish national team at the World Junior Championships held in Romania.

He finished first in the 50-meter breaststroke event with a time of 26.98 seconds, climbing to the top of the podium.

It should be noted that last year, Nusrat Allahverdi also took first place in the same discipline at the European Championship held in Lithuania.
