Azerbaijan ranks third at U-20 Wrestling Championship

U-20 World Wrestling Championship concludes in Samokov, Bulgaria.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijan national team in Greco-Roman wrestling won 1 set of medals at the prestigious competition. With a total of 90 points, the team ranked third in the world. In terms of the number of medals, their quality, total points, and team ranking, the team achieved its best result in the last three years.

It is worth noting that in the Azerbaijan national team, Ayxan Javadov (60 kilograms) won gold, Turan Dashdemirov (55 kilograms) won silver, and Faraim Mustafayev (67 kilograms) won bronze.
