A red alert has been issued in China regarding possible floods and disasters caused by Typhoon Matmo, which is expected to affect the southern and southwestern regions of the country.
Axar.az reports that classes, workplaces, and public transportation were suspended in the cities of Haikou and Wenchang on Hainan Island. Flights expected at the airport were also canceled.
Train operations in the region in question were also suspended for a day today.
It should be noted that the flights canceled at the airport are expected to resume at 20:00 on October 5 (16:00 Baku time).
