Germany has recalled its ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, for consultations.
Axar.az reports that the German Foreign Ministry announced the decision, stating that for months the Georgian leadership has been making harsh statements against the EU, Germany, and personally against Peter Fischer.
“For this reason, the German Foreign Ministry has decided to recall Ambassador Fischer for consultations on future steps.
Tomorrow, the EU Foreign Affairs Council will discuss the issue concerning Georgia,” the statement said.
