Netanyahu to run in 2026 elections

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that he will run again in the parliamentary elections to be held in November 2026.

Axar.az reports that he said this while answering questions on Channel 14 television.

Netanyahu answered the journalist's question, "Do you expect to win?" "Yes," he said.

It should be noted that Netanyahu, the leader of the Likud Party, is the longest-serving politician in Israeli history. He has been in this position for more than 18 years, with breaks, since 1996.
