I would like to hold a meeting or summit with the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) at the level of the US Secretary of State.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Luke Coffey, a leading expert at the Hudson Institute, during his speech at the conference “The United States in the South Caucasus: Identifying New Strategic Opportunities” held in Washington.

He said that the Turkic world is an emerging pole in the land part of Eurasia, and it is time for US politicians to understand, recognize, and deal with it.

“When you go to Istanbul, take a few hours and visit the headquarters of the TTS. Learn more about this organization, because I think it is increasingly important,” he noted.
