A Turkish-owned vessel, the Nadezhda, was hit by a Ukrainian drone in the Black Sea while sailing from Turkiye’s Samsun Port to Russia’s Novorossiysk Port.
Axar.az reports that the vessel belongs to Turkiye-based Kalyoncu Shipping and has Turkish crew members on board.
The ship was struck at around 19:30 Baku time.
The ship is sailing under the flag of Cameroon and was carrying trucks loaded with fruits and vegetables.
According to the report, no crew members were injured or reported missing following the attack. A Russian patrol boat was the first to arrive at the scene.
