Germany to boost aid to Ukraine by €3 billion

The German government plans to increase financial assistance to Ukraine by about 3 billion euros next year.

Axar.az informs that the Handelsblatt newspaper reported this, citing sources.

According to the information, so far, 8.5 billion euros have been allocated to support Kyiv in the 2026 state budget:

“The decision to allocate an additional 3 billion euros is not final; negotiations are ongoing within the coalition, but there is a consensus on the need to increase the amount of funds to be provided to Ukraine.”
