Ukraine needs US support in the field of long-range weapons. Even their presence among Ukrainian soldiers can be a deterrent.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this during his speech at the EU enlargement summit.

The Ukrainian leader noted that Russia currently wants to achieve a military victory over Ukraine. However, if Europe continues to put pressure on the aggressor, this will never happen.

"The US should be open to the proposed options regarding long-range weapons. This is very important. Even as a deterrent, we must have them to use them," Zelensky stressed.
