The EU may admit new members by 2030

New countries may join the European Union by 2030.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission.

The diplomat emphasized that these states include Albania, Moldova, Ukraine and Montenegro.

Kaja Kallas added that Ukraine's membership in the EU should also play an important role in ensuring its security.
