Russia presses attack on Pokrovsk defenses

Russian forces continue attempts to break through Ukraine’s defense in the Pokrovsk region. The enemy has mobilized all its forces.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Maksim Taran, spokesperson for Ukraine’s National Guard “Rubezh” brigade.

He noted that the Russians are using infantry of various categories, artillery, light and heavy armored vehicles, and are also striking with KAB bombs:

“We saw this tactic in 2024 while defending the Kharkiv region. At that time, the enemy could not break our defense and carried out strikes on our positions with KAB aerial bombs,” he said.
