Austria warns Iran over violence against protesters

The Austrian Foreign Minister has warned Iranian officials that they will be held accountable for violence against peaceful protesters.

Axar.az reports that Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger shared this on her X account.

"I condemn in the strongest terms the brutal violence used by the Iranian authorities against peaceful protesters. Austria draws clear conclusions from this situation. Individuals associated with a regime that violates human rights and seeks to evade responsibility will not find refuge in our country. Do not even think of seeking refuge here," she said.
