Putin and Netanyahu discuss Iran by phone, Kremlin says

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the situation in Iran, the Kremlin press service reported.

Axar.az informs the two leaders talked about developments in the Middle East and around Iran. Putin outlined “key approaches to step up political and diplomatic efforts” to ensure security and stability in the region.

The Russian side confirmed its readiness “to continue appropriate mediation efforts” and to “support constructive dialogue involving all interested countries.” They also agreed to maintain contacts at various levels.
