Identities of 4,902 killed in Iran protests confirmed

The identities of 4,902 people killed during nationwide protests in Iran, which began 25 days ago, have been confirmed, while efforts are ongoing to verify the identities of 9,387 others.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Iranian Human Rights Organization.

Among those killed, 201 were government officials, 40 were minors, and 39 were civilians not participating in the protests.

In addition, 26,541 people have been arrested and transferred to various prisons.

The organization noted that due to internet restrictions, there are delays in confirming the numbers and identities of those killed and detained.
