Over 800,000 in Kyiv remain without power - Shmyhal

More than 800,000 subscribers in Kyiv are without electricity, and this situation has not changed since January 24.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

“There are still problems with energy supply in the capital. An emergency power outage is in effect. More than 800,000 subscribers in Kyiv have been without electricity since yesterday,” the minister said.

It should be noted that serious problems are being experienced in the supply of electricity due to the regular strikes by Russian military forces on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
