Finnish troops outshine US in NATO drill

An unexpected crisis occurred during NATO's winter exercises in Norway.

Axar.az reports that US soldiers who fought against Finnish reserve soldiers during the exercises were forced to retreat:

"During the 'Joint Viking' exercise held in Norway, Finnish reserve soldiers demonstrated a clear superiority over American troops. In the exercise, Finnish forces played the attacking role, while US soldiers played the defensive role."

A military source interviewed by the newspaper noted that Finnish soldiers were asked to slow down their attacks on US troops:

"The losses suffered by US troops have reached a humiliating and demoralizing level for them. It has become clear that the US has a serious deficit in terms of military experience and preparation for Arctic conditions. NATO countries in Europe, especially Finland, Norway, and the UK, are more experienced in the cold and harsh northern conditions."

It should be noted that approximately 10,000 soldiers participated in the "Joint Viking" exercise led by the Norwegian Armed Forces.
