Qarabag transfer ban lifted

FIFA has lifted the transfer ban imposed on Qarabag FK.

Axar.az reports that the governing body has reversed its earlier decision regarding the Aghdam-based club.

FIFA had previously imposed a ban preventing the club from registering new players for the next three transfer windows. However, the issue has now been resolved.

The ban was reportedly triggered after Qarabag delayed a transfer payment to one of its players, which led FIFA’s system to automatically place the club on a restriction list. Once the financial obligations were settled, the ban was lifted.

The situation mirrors a similar case involving Neftchi PFK, which also faced a temporary transfer restriction.

With the issue resolved, Qarabag will be able to sign new players in the upcoming summer transfer window.
