Journalist interrupts Lavrov during press conference - Video

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was involved in a tense exchange with a journalist during a press conference in India.

Axar.az reports that the journalist interrupted Lavrov twice by speaking loudly on the phone during the briefing.

Lavrov reacted by asking the reporter to leave the room. After the requests failed to stop the disruption, the Russian minister responded with a sarcastic remark.

“Sir, if you don’t surrender your phone, they’ll take out the gun!” Lavrov said in English, drawing laughter from the audience.
