Kremlin responds to rumors of Epstein-Putin meeting

The Kremlin has not received any proposals from American financier Jeffrey Epstein to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Axar.az informs the reports about the billionaire’s alleged intention to meet the Russian leader appeared in documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice. Epstein had reportedly expressed his desire several times in correspondence with then-Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjorn Jagland.

“No, [we have not received any proposals],” the Kremlin representative said in response to a related question.
