In 2025, Russia will allocate up to half of its state budget to military spending.
Axar.az informs that this was reported by the German Federal Intelligence Service.
According to the information, Moscow's actual defense spending is 66% higher than official figures and is approximately 250 billion euros, which is about 10% of GDP:
“A significant part of the expenses is hidden in other budget items and is spent not only on the war in Ukraine, but also on strengthening military infrastructure on NATO borders. The increase in military spending has already led to a decrease in social spending and an increase in the tax burden.”
