Rubio to discuss Russian energy exit with Hungary, Slovakia

Washington will discuss the issue of abandoning Russian energy supplies with Hungary and Slovakia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

When he was asked whether the United States would urge Hungary and Slovakia to stop buying Russian energy, he said Washington would hold talks with them about what needs to be done.

“ Well, we’ll have those conversations with them. We’ll talk to them about what needs to happen,” he noted.

Rubio also said he is planning to visit Hungary and Slovakia for bilateral talks following earlier meetings with officials from both countries.
