Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexey Overchuk has arrived in Azerbaijan on a working visit.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in information published on the website of the Russian government.

“Alexey Overchuk has arrived in Azerbaijan on a working visit to participate in the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which will be held on April 16.

Co-chaired by A. Overchuk and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, the sides will review the implementation progress of decisions adopted at the 23rd meeting of the commission, held on August 22, 2025 in Astrakhan, as well as the execution of the action plan for the development of key areas of Russia-Azerbaijan cooperation.

During the meeting, a broad range of issues related to bilateral and multilateral trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan is expected to be discussed,” the statement reads.
