Zelensky urges tougher sanctions on Russia

We truly hope that the trilateral meetings scheduled for next week will be serious and beneficial for all of us. But to be honest, sometimes it feels as though the sides are speaking about entirely different issues.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at the Munich Security Conference.

Zelensky called on Ukraine’s allies to take steps to force Russia toward peace by imposing tougher sanctions and increasing arms supplies.

“The United States often returns to the topic of concessions, and those concessions are frequently discussed in the context of Ukraine rather than Russia,” Zelensky added.
