Armenia PM holds Security Council meeting

On March 5, Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Axar.az informs during the telephone conversation, the ministers exchanged views on the latest regional developments. Expressing their concerns, the FMs noted the importance of refraining from steps that could further exacerbate tensions, and stressed the importance of ensuring stability and security.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov briefed his Armenian counterpart on the drone attacks carried out on March 5 against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which caused damage to civilian infrastructure and injured civilians.

The ministers stressed the importance of ensuring sustainable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as discussed issues of mutual concern.
