Ukraine says Russia launched 729 aerial weapons

Russia launched more than 650 drones and over 70 missiles against Ukraine overnight.

Axar.az reports, citing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the main direction of the attack was Kyiv.

“Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava and other regions were also targeted. A total of 729 aerial attack weapons were recorded, including 73 missiles and 656 drones of various types. The attack involved eight 3M22 Zircon anti-ship missiles, 33 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 27 Kh-101 cruise missiles, five Kalibr cruise missiles, and 656 UAVs,” the statement said.

The Ukrainian military said it destroyed 642 targets, including 40 missiles and 602 drones.

“Eleven Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 26 Kh-101 cruise missiles, three Kalibr cruise missiles, and 602 UAVs were neutralized,” the statement added.
