Zelensky: Russia’s spring offensive has failed

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that "the spring campaign, as it had been planned, drowned in this spring for the Russians; they were unable to advance."

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrinform, Zelensky noted that among the reasons for the failure of the Russian offensive were the successful operation in Kupiansk in 2025, as well as this year's operation in the south of the country.

He also stressed that Russia’s setbacks do not indicate a halt to its aggressive plans. The President noted that current intelligence suggests they may attempt further offensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole areas.
