IDF strikes Iranian air defense site near Caspian Sea

The Israeli Air Force targeted an Iranian air defense site near the Caspian Sea in northern Iran, the Israeli military said.

Axar.az reports, citing IDF Telegram chennel, the site, located in a forested area more than 1,600 kilometers from Israel, reportedly housed air defense systems considered a threat to Israeli aircraft.

In a statement, the Israeli Defense Forces said the strike was part of a broader wave of operations guided by military intelligence, aimed at maintaining and expanding aerial superiority over Iranian airspace.
