Iranian supertanker passes through Hormuz despite US blockade

An Iranian crude carrier has reportedly entered Iranian waters after transiting the Strait of Hormuz despite the U.S. blockade.

Axar.az informs according to Iran’s Fars News Agency, the supertanker, which it said is capable of carrying around 2 million barrels of crude oil, sailed through international waters and the Strait of Hormuz with its tracking system switched on.

It should be noted that the U.S. blockade targeting Iranian vessels in the Strait of Hormuz has been in effect since Monday.
